Dwight Head is a member of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, and the Soil and Water Conservation Society.
Mr. Head has acquired decades of experience in solving agriculture resource management problems. His 35 years with the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service has provided him with experience in design and construction of ponds, dams, grade control structures, along with drainage and irrigation works. He has also prepared conservation plans and contracts with landowners to complete their conservation programs.
Managing the available resources to reach their potential yields the greatest rewards in production and to the environment. With M&E Consultants, Dwight has provided planning, design, and construction supervision for refurbishing old ponds on ranches. He also performed ‘Dam Safety’ inspections for flood control watershed dams throughout Texas.
Dwight holds a BS degree in Agricultural Engineering from Texas Tech University, which was obtained in 1974, and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas.
